FINALLY ALL THE PIECES TO THEIR BITTERSWEET STORY

Now I'll be totally honest, at the start of this listen I really didn't think I was going to like it as I had such fond memories of Hudson and Alayna by the end of their trilogy and this starts off totally different. It portrays Hudson as a manipulative, sadistic, cold-hearted, nasty bastard who, along with his Queen of Bitches friend Celia, planned the terrible hurtful scam against the vulnerable unknowing and innocent Alanya.

It doesn't repeat the story we've already heard, in touches on some scenes, but it's told from Hudson's POV and flashes back and forth in time giving the reasons and history behind why they did what they did and the devastating and heartbreaking consequences that followed after their twisted, bitter and damaged minds fixed onto Alayna for their next 'emotional experiment'. But, as the story unfolds, it explains just why they are both so emotionally broken and why they are playing with other people's lives and fills in the gaps from the other side of the story.

It's raw, powerful, gritty, terrible, heartbreaking, romantic, tender and beautiful and answers so many questions and his Proposal and the Epilogue.... well if you've loved their story, that'll have you in tears.

Worth a credit? IMHO, a MUST for any Fixed fan but be please be prepared to hate Hudson for most of the book and wait for his climactic downfall when he realises he's lost the love of his life but then you can rejoice when he lovingly puts his heart and soul into winning her back. It's so well written, emotional, tragic and bitter but it's also a well narrated story about character growth, healing, understanding, forgiveness and the unconditional power of a beautiful love. So, worth the credit..... HELL YEAH. But must be listened to after their moving trilogy.

Narrator takes away the sexy

Does anyone else think that this narrator sounds like Beavis from Beavis and butthead...? It's not through out the entire book but is comparable in several areas...

Don't waste the credit

Would you try another book from Laurelin Paige and/or James Patrick Nelson?

Yes - Loved the Fixed Series - but Hudson was a waste of time and money. The background provided was not worth the time it took to listen.

Yes - all of the Fixed Series - Hudson was the dissappointment.

I highly recommend the " Fixed" series , but if you were looking for more with the final installment - Save your time and your credit. It was a big let-down for me!

Great Story

Story was well written, was great to have better insight into Hudson. Overall not bad.

Not the right narrator

The narration was so bad I could not enjoy the book. I had read the 3 previous books in this series so it was disappointing I could not enjoy this book. In the book it says Hudson is 30 years old. This narrator sounded 50-60. I tried increasing the speed to 125x which did help but all in all it was a very disappointing read.

Amazing Hudson Pierce!

So crazy, sexy and fun! I loved it all! I read the trilogy first and now this.... I didn't want it to end!!

Review of the "Fixed" Series (1-3)

If I had realized that this book "Hudson" was a review, from Hudson's point, I probably would not have bought it. However, it was nice to have a quick review of the three previous books. I enjoyed this story. Why is it so hard for people to "come clean" with the person they love? I guess I am an open book and don't really hide anything. Some times people think their secrets are such a big deal, when most often they are only a big deal to themselves. Not people around them. Alayna and Hudson need to stop making stupid mistakes. However, if they didn't, there wouldn't be a book. So much anxiety as a listened to this audiobook. Glad I bought it so I can listen to it again, later, much later. When my heart slows down. lol

The book itself was okay, i just didn't like the character Hudson and I did not think the narrator matched the attitude.

loved the books prior, this was mediocre

I love the stories prior to this one but hearing it from Hudson's point of view didn't add a lot. And the reader although he's supposed to have a sexy voice, is very deep and monotone and I found it putting me to sleep.

Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews

I'm glad I used my extra credit to read this fourth book in the series. I did have to speed up the narration, since the speaker spoke so slowly. And, I skipped the chapters about the before story. Just wasn't interested in that. But, the rest of it was great.
