Hell’s First Team!
They crawl through jungle. Claw through caves. Slog through swamps. Nothing can stop them. And every moment their minds are dominated by a single thought: kill, or die. They take the impossible jobs no ordinary outfit will touch. Because these aren’t ordinary men. They’re the toughest team in the Pacific War, the one the enemy fears most...The Rat Bastards.

In Green Hell, coolly narrated like a certified tough guy who’s seen some hard things by Ray Porter, the listener continues to follow the exciting and dangerous exploits of The Rat Bastards, the hardest combat unit that crawled through the steamy jungles of the Pacific during World War II.
When the combat action gets heavy and things start getting real, The Rat Bastards are the guys that push forward rather than fall back; the ones with a tenacious iron-willed spirit that no enemy fire can touch. A fascinating listen of hardcore soldiers at work.
