Death is in their blood!
The enemy wants them dead. Their own side wants them to shape up. They’re the Rat Bastards. They steal. Lie. Kill. And they never respect the rules. The stuntman. The Indian. The gangster. The bum. The most awesomely effective fighting team in the history of man-to-man mayhem. And now they’re all that stands between the Japs and their plan to retake the bloody Pacific island of Bougainville.

Do or Dieis the ninth book in Len Levinson’s Rat Bastard series. Set in the Pacific during WWII’s fiercest years of fighting, Levinson tells the tale of a gang of rough-and-tumble brawlers determined to keep the Japanese from their planned conquest of the Pacific. Ray Porter shows great range in his performance, capturing the thrill of combat as well as battle’s more dark emotions. Porter is astute in portraying the voice of Levinson’s gritty and irreverent fighters.
