Sophia, an energetic and brilliant little girl and the only child of her parents, becomes upset with her mother as months pass by and she still can't attend school. Her father, the breadwinner who owns a small bakery, died suddenly. Sophia’s mother, saddened by her husband’s death, can hardly manage the bakery; therefore, they lack finances to buy food and send Sophia to school.
