This adaptation really takes the meandering on characterisations from 19th century novels to a next level. People literally do nothing and the plot is hardly changed except for cars and stock market.
And the worst: It's Emma with the romance taken out of it: no sparks, no great conversations, Georg hardly enters the stage. I really do wonder what the aim of this adaptation was.
