Joining us in the Audible studios to discuss her latest novel, The Belles, is coauthor of the Tiny Pretty Things series and founder of CAKE Literary, Dhonielle Clayton.
Hailing from Washington, DC, the Maryland side, Dhonielle Clayton revived her love for children's literature whilst working as an English teacher. Collaborating with fellow writer Sona Charaipotra, they published their young adult fiction series, Tiny Pretty Things, and cofounded creative development company CAKE Literary.
Dhonielle's novel The Belles will be published in February 2018. Dhonielle Clayton talks to us about the inspiration behind her latest book, her love for young adult fiction and her quest for diversity in literature.
