Some good tips but gives me the feeling of I just paid for an infomercial

I liked some of the tools and tips provided in the book. Although there are links and recommendations to software and templates I got a sour feeling about being a target of a huge infomercial machine to provide business and reference cash for the author and author company. That feeling diminished the value and credibility of the information. Just read it with a critical mind.

Very helpful

Very helpful book. It gave me an energy and determination to start with my first baby step to optimize LinkedIn as a marketing tool!

This book is an infomercial.

What disappointed you about Connect: The Secret LinkedIn Playbook to Generate Leads, Build Relationships, and Dramatically Increase Your Sales?

A few good tips, but mostly it was selling the $900 coaching program.

Actually useful!

I've had my share of social media books and a lot of them had extremely boring narrators AND they were the most basic information about social media. This book was very informative and exactly what I needed. I didn't know much about LinkedIn and now I feel like I know a lot more than I did and very confident in making some new connections.

Great Content, no story

Narrator was easy to listen to. I rated it average in the story telling department, because it's not a "story' book. It's a practical, easy to understand and follow business book. Can't wait to start applying the material.

Why did I pay to be advertised to?

1st pitch, ok. 2nd pitch, fine. 3rd advertising pitch ...ugh! This book had some great pointers but reads more like a webinar than a business "how to ".
