Edwin Sawyer thought his troubles were over when he slew the monster that attacked Blackwater's freshman class during their Grand Conjuration. With the two coeds who share his affections well on their way to achieving their majors and one of the campus's most powerful—and insane—female teachers at his side, winter break looks like a time for rest, relaxation, and solidifying his new relationships.
Then tragedy strikes and the unthinkable happens.
With the college thrown into chaos, Edwin is forced into a position of authority he never asked for. Tracking down the people responsible for attacking Blackwater will take him and his women to the ends of the Earth and beyond—into the magical Allways and their paths to the rest of the Nine Realms.
It might even require the help of the infamous (and forbidden) Black Moon Society. Joining the ranks of the heretic wizards was never part of the plan, but their leader is more than willing to grant him their powers. Assuming he's willing to pay her price, of course.
