It is difficult to watch an LAPD officer raise his gun and fire four fatal shots at Jameson, a golden saint berdoodle as he bounces towards him, barking. The body cam footage shows how quickly everything unfolded after officers knocked on Marie Marseille’s door, following up on a call regarding a screaming woman. Marseille had been celebrating the Knick’s big win. After watching the video, the outrage has grown, LA’s mayor calling the footage disturbing and tragic, and directed the police department to examine its use of force policy on dogs.
