Most people spend their lives trying to fix other people.
I know I did.
In this deeply personal solo episode, I share how growing up with a strict and emotionally challenging childhood shaped my need to read people, help people, rescue people and keep everyone happy.
What I thought was empathy turned out to be something much deeper.
We explore:
• Why people pleasing often starts in childhood
• How trauma can create hyper-awareness and emotional sensitivity
• Why empaths absorb other people’s emotions
• The hidden connection between anxiety and trying to control outcomes
• How childhood experiences shape adult relationships
• Why pain is often life’s greatest teacher
• The spiritual meaning behind difficult experiences
• How to stop fixing everyone around you
• Learning to trust life instead of controlling it
• Why coaches, mentors and outside perspectives accelerate growth
• The lessons hidden inside rejection, failure and suffering
• What I learned from my relationship with my father
• How awareness changes everything
This episode is for anyone who feels responsible for everyone else’s happiness, struggles with boundaries, overthinks relationships, or finds themselves constantly trying to save, fix or heal other people.
Sometimes the lesson is not changing the situation.
Sometimes the lesson is allowing it.
