À propos de ce contenu audio
It’s been a weekend of silverware, near-misses and Island pride across the board, our sports reporters Archie Corbett and Elliot Corbel discuss this weekend's results on the latest episode of The Cool Down.
We start with a historic moment for Jersey Wanderers, who completed a stunning double by lifting the Upton Park Trophy for the first time in 37 years – just days after sealing the Premiership 1 title. We also shine a light on the next generation, with St Paul’s U16s following in their footsteps with an impressive Upton victory of their own.
There was heartbreak for Jersey Hockey in London, as their incredible run to the England Tier 2 Final ended in the cruellest fashion – a penalty shootout defeat after a tightly contested 1-1 draw.
Jersey Cricket continue their preparation for World Cup Qualifiers on the international stage as they beat Denmark 2-1 in Svanholm whilst Division 1 began locally.
We round up a huge weekend in rugby, where Jersey impressed across the Junior Siam Cup, and dive into a dominant inter-insular showing from the Island’s darts players, who won five of seven trophies on home soil.
Plenty to get through – the highs, the heartbreak, and everything in between.
