The Rays push their win streak to 6 after their 4-3 win vs the Chicago White Sox. After trailing 1-0 after 3 innings, Taylor Walls continued his hot start to the season with an RBI single in the 4th inning making it 1-1. Runs were hard to come by for both teams in this one. The White Sox would scratch across another run in the 6th inning to make it 2-1. The Rays answered right back with a 2 out 2 strike RBI single by Richie Palacios to tie the game at 2. The White Sox would deal a major blow in the 8th inning. Former Ray Evanson Pereira hit the go ahead home run to give the White Sox the 3-2 lead. But the Rays answered right back in the 9th inning with a monster Junior Caminero homer to tie the game. The Rays would then load the bases with 2 outs and Hunter Fedducia drew a clutch walk to tie the game. Steven Matz started for the Rays and was good again. He went 5.1 striking out 4 only giving up 2 runs. The Rays will head to Pittsburgh next as they try to extend their win streak to 7.
