After too many bad break-ups and toxic relationships, Coop decides that it's time for a new beginning. When a new position requires relocation to Portland, Oregon, Coop doesn't hesitate to accept the job and leave past heartbreaks and Chicago in the rear view mirror.

The new surroundings, accompanied by the natural beauty of the city, gives Coop a renewed feeling of hope. That vibe only intensifies when a bar owner named Margie enters the picture. Magic and instant attraction spark daydreams of a love connection, but Coop is not ready to pour out feelings, especially when it seems Margie is only interested in a friendship. Coop desperately wants to escape the "friend zone," but Margie is infatuated with someone else, Carson. Carson has the looks of a model and the witty charisma to make him a magnet for any woman.
