Good morning. Pennsylvania. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you'll feel it. Damp, gray, foggy. We picked up a quarter inch of rain overnight. And that soggy feeling is sticking around. Southeast Pennsylvania wakes up under thick clouds and patchy fog. High near 48 degrees. Light drizzle possible, but nothing you can't handle. Northeast winds around 10 miles an hour keep things feeling raw. Tonight drops to 39 degrees with more fog rolling in. Now here's where things get interesting. Western Pennsylvania is living in a completely different season. Currently 56 degrees, climbing to 70 degrees by mid-afternoon. That's a 38 degrees-degree split statewide. Fog clears by 8 A.M., then partly sunny skies take over. A 30 percent chance of light rain pops up late morning through early afternoon. Tonight stays mild at 59 degrees. Central Pennsylvania splits the difference. High near 47 degrees with fog before 9 A.M. and a slight chance of light rain this afternoon. Cloudy skies stick around all day. Tonight dips to 42 degrees with more fog developing after dark. Here's your heads-up for the weekend. Saturday brings an even bigger temperature divide — the west hits 77 degrees while the east struggles to reach 58 degrees. Rain and thunderstorms arrive Saturday night, some possibly severe in western areas. Damaging winds are the main threat. Sunday clears out beautifully with highs in the low 60s statewide. Monday turns gorgeous — sunny skies and highs near 70 degrees. Tuesday and Wednesday bring unseasonable warmth, with highs climbing into the low to mid 70s.
