Good morning. Utah. I'm Aaron Jolly. That light dusting on your windshield this morning? Just the preview. A cold front is carving through the state right now. And it's making the morning commute along the Wasatch Front a slow crawl. In the next 24 hours. Here's the split. Along the Wasatch Front, snow keeps falling through late morning, possibly switching to rain this afternoon. You'll hit 43 degrees, but that northwest wind at 10 miles an hour makes it feel like 28 around 8 A.M. Tonight? Rain and snow continue with lows near 32. Push into the mountains and it's a different world. A Winter Storm Watch is up for the Central Mountains — 6 to 14 inches could pile up through Friday. Highs today barely crack 34 degrees, with wind chills in the teens this morning. Parleys Canyon? Take it slow. Down in Southern Utah, it's practically spring. Sunny skies, 60 degrees, not a flake in sight. Lows tonight drop to 37 under clear skies. Friday keeps the pattern rolling. More snow chances up north and in the mountains. Southern Utah stays sunny and pleasant. But here's the good news. High pressure builds in this weekend. By Sunday, the Wasatch Front hits 56 degrees. Monday? 63. Southern Utah could see upper 70s by Monday afternoon — that's 15 degrees above normal for early March. Spring is knocking loud. In Tonight's full moon rises at 6, 24 P.M. If clouds break, grab a look. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
