Good evening. Kentucky. I'm Aaron Jolly. That light rain you heard overnight? Just a teaser. We picked up about two-tenths of an inch. And now the atmosphere is reloading. A stationary front draped along the Ohio River is keeping things unsettled, with showers and thunderstorms likely to redevelop as we head through tonight and Thursday. In the next 24 hours. Here's your regional breakdown. North Central Kentucky stays in the thick of it tonight, with a low around 60 degrees and a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Thursday brings more rain, with a high near 71 degrees. Central Kentucky sees a similar story, with a low near 59 degrees tonight and a high of 72 degrees Thursday. Gusts could hit 23 miles an hour. Down in South Central Kentucky, you're slightly warmer. Lows near 63 degrees tonight, with a high pushing 76 degrees Thursday. Eastern Kentucky gets the mildest stretch. Lows near 58 degrees tonight, with Thursday's high soaring to 79 degrees under partly sunny skies. These temperatures are running 47 degrees to 47 degrees above normal for early March. We're talking record-threatening warmth by Friday and Saturday, when highs could hit 80 degrees in spots. But A strong cold front arrives Saturday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some could be strong to severe. Behind that front, temperatures drop back into the 60s for Sunday. One more thing — tonight's full moon will be rising around sunset. If the clouds break, it'll be worth a look. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
