In the latest episode, we join we join Derek Thomas from the Central Cornwall Integrated Care Area and Neil McKay from Truro’s Integrated Neighbourhood Team to learn about the NHS’s Caring Where It Matters campaign - and the neighbourhood health and wellbeing events happening across Cornwall.

We check in with charity co‑founders Kay and Darren from Rest with Joseph and Friends to discuss their plans for a peaceful memorial garden for babies lost before 24 weeks, and how the community can support their work.

As well as that, we take a trip to St Ewe to meet Affordable Housing chair Paul Sibley and vice‑chair Will Richards to hear how the community has raised funds to secure land for the next phase of their affordable housing scheme.

We hear from Dr Hilary Jones and ASDA Pharmacist Michelle Holmes about ASDA Pharmacy’s new “ISSUE” acronym, created to help people understand when they can speak to a pharmacist instead of booking a GP appointment…

…and we welcome Nick Smith, Chief Executive of Young People Cornwall, to discuss the surge in demand for youth mental health support and why the charity has had to pause new referrals.
