À propos de ce contenu audio
To help Amy feel less scared about falling again, Nia did brief glides close to the ground and delicate, controlled flaps. Amy watched her intently and tried to copy what she did. She ascended a few inches, flapped a little, and finally fell back on the clover. She continued trying, and each time she did, she got a bit higher and steadier. Every time Amy rose off the ground, Nia exclaimed with a warm and excited voice, making Amy feel like she was doing something very important. As the sun went down and the sky became soft oranges and pinks, Amy felt a tired sort of happiness that only comes from truly giving it your best.
She thanked Nia for being so kind and said she would keep practicing the following day. As the sun went down over the field, Amy headed toward a giant mushroom that had a wide top that would protect her. She leaned against the stem and observed the little lights of the fireflies flashing like stars that had come to earth. As the sun went down, the lights became brighter. She felt grateful, tired, and safe with the warmth of friendship in her heart. She dreamed of the day when she would fearlessly soar over the sky, her hopes like bright patterns on her wings.
She curled her wings quietly at her sides and let the peaceful night lull her to sleep. As Amy slipped into dreams of a huge sky and flashing lights, the meadow whispered around her, getting her ready for the next part of her adventure. Morning came back to the meadow with soft golden light that stroked the grass like warm honey and welcomed each flower, leaf, and small creature. Amy felt the cool, invigorating morning air on her wings before the warmth of the day arrived. She felt a fresh sense of determination as she stared up at the sky.
