Meet Kendra King, LCSW-A:

Kendra is the Owner & Lead Therapist of The Healing Heart Center, a private practice she founded over 2 years ago in Charlotte, NC. She has over 14yrs of experience in the Mental Health & Substance Use field working with individuals across the lifespan and has been an advocate since 2015 for young women and girls at risk or involved in Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)/ Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST). Kendra served on the Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council from 2019 to 2023 as a Vice Chair & Subcommittee Chair (Risk & Needs Subcommittee). She has represented the state of NC Chapter as a delegate on the NASW Delegate Assembly since 2021 and is a current member of the Mecklenburg County Adult Care Home Community Advisory Council. She has specialized in working with Partners of Sex & Porn Addicts for over 6 yrs while also providing Affair Recovery & Sex Therapy services.
