Jesus comes out of the water and "immediately" is led into the wilderness. Why? What does it mean for us? In this episode, we start our journey with Jesus as he faces the wilderness and shows us the way through.
Hebrews 5 describes believers who are still like infants because they are unfamiliar with the “Oracles of God,” a phrase most often connected to the Torah—the instruction God gave His people. At The Whole Testament, we recognize that many of us today are also “baby believers,” still learning the deeper truths of God’s Word. Our desire is to grow in maturity by learning to “eat” solid spiritual food.
This is the heartbeat behind our podcast. We want to engage Scripture in meaningful ways that help us grow. Some episodes offer brief reflections meant to spark fresh ways of thinking. Others take a deeper look at the Scriptures, inviting thoughtful study and reflection. Finally, we share conversations focused on how we can live out what we’ve learned by talking with people who are practicing these truths in their daily lives.
