Lucas Bergvall has undergone surgery on his left ankle after suffering a high ankle sprain in Tuesday night’s Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, with the midfielder now beginning his rehabilitation.
We also look at reports linking Spurs with a move for Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson, as talks are understood to be underway amid the Scotland captain’s search for regular football ahead of the World Cup.
There’s a positive result for the Under-21s too, who secured a 2–1 away win at Stoke City on Friday evening. Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny opened the scoring before Rio Kyerematen struck late on to seal the victory.
