À propos de ce contenu audio
Songs can carry a mix of energies and because we listen to them in a state of semi-hypnosis the lyrics and that mixed energy can unduly influence us in our beliefs. In order to demonstrate this, I went through what are considered to be the top 10 most popular songs in the UK and I deconstructed them to prove my point.
- All of Me - John Legend
- I Will Always Love You - Whitney Huston
- The Power of Love - Jennifer Rush
- Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol
- Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran
- I don't want to miss a thing - Aerosmith
- Just the Way You Are - Bruno Mars
- Angels - Robbie Williams
- Everything I do, I do for you - Bryan Adams
- My heart will go on - Celine Dion
The problem that I have with most of those songs, except perhaps Bruno Mars' song (although it's problematic in a different way), is that they have less than ideal messages wrapped up in a pretty box with a bow. That pretty box is a fine tune or a lovely melody and often it comes with a beautiful voice, but the message is still problematic.
There are of course wonderful songs and I have a playlist called High Vibe. Some of the songs you can find in there are:
- Mr Blue SKy - ELO
- Thank you - Bliss
- Here comes the sun - the Beatles
- Intuition - John Lennon
- Happy - Pharrell Williams
- W.i.t.c.h. - Devon Cole
If you have a favourite high vibe song you would like to share with us, why not share it in the comments on the podcast show notes on my website. www.spirituallawyer.co.uk/podcast-2
