As an image and impact strategist, executive presence coach, personal branding strategist, and founder of L.F.I. Coaching & Development, he helps people recognize the value they already carry—and communicate it with confidence.

Through his P.O.I.S.E.™ Method, Wil invites readers to look closely at how they present themselves, how others experience them, and what becomes possible when their presence matches their purpose. Wil’s perspective comes from a career that has taken him through beauty, media, coaching, and behavioral health. He is an award-winning hair and makeup artist and the founder of Let’s Face It Makeup & Hair Studio. He has also worked in crisis response and leadership, experiences that have taught him the importance of listening carefully, showing up with intention, and helping people find their footing in pivotal moments. He holds graduate degrees in marketing and human services counseling and is a certified NLP and organizational development coach.

A natural communicator, Wil enjoys bringing people together through meaningful conversations. He hosts Let’s Face It w/ Wil Strayhorn & Friends, where he shares stories and perspectives that inspire connection and growth. In 2026, he was named a Black Men Rock Image Awards honoree in recognition of his work and contributions.

Wil makes his home in Suffolk, Virginia, with Justin, their three children—Jayden, Breonna, and Justin Jr.—and the family goldendoodle. Family, creativity, good conversation, and the chance to encourage someone toward their next chapter are at the heart of the life he is building.
