Stephanie Giese spent fifteen years writing about real-life trauma for national publications before finally deciding she'd rather create something that made people smile. Her 2021 memoir, All I Never Knowed, chronicles more than a decade navigating the American mental healthcare system while fighting to find help for a child in crisis.
