Shahid L. Malik

Shahid Malik is a petroleum engineer from Pakistan whose career has taken him across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Canada and Oman. Now he and his second wife are settled in the USA near their two daughters and five grandchildren. Faith in Destiny is his account of the year that changed everything. It's the story of a woman he loved from afar for more than a decade and who came into his life for only a few short years before succumbing to leukemia. It has taken him 35 years to share this story of that fateful year, when a simple doctor visit turned into a shattering diagnosis, and the Gulf War began in earnest, changing the course of their lives in ways they could never have imagined.
