Samantha Andersson

Samantha Andersson is a writer, educator, former Division I athlete, and mother of two active boys. Her work explores identity, family, resilience, and the quiet pressures we often pass down without meaning to.

She lives on a farm with her family, where daily life is full of movement, responsibility, laughter, and the steady rhythm of raising children who love to play, compete, and grow. That balance between ambition and ordinary life shapes much of what she writes.

Samantha holds a B.S. in Biology Education, an M.S. in Administrative Leadership, and an M.S. in Chemistry. Her background in education and leadership brings depth and perspective to stories about growth, belonging, and human connection.

Her children's chapter book series, Famous at Night, grew from watching her own son navigate challenges with reading while wanting to experience the same chapter books he saw his peers enjoying. The series combines sports, adventure, and relatable childhood moments with an intentionally approachable design, giving young readers a chapter book they can pick up and enjoy at their own pace.

Through fiction and nonfiction, Samantha writes about youth sports, parenthood, memory, and the moments that quietly change us. When time allows, she enjoys reading, knitting, and tending to plants and flowers. Her hope is to create stories that feel honest, human, and worth carrying with you.
