ROBERT PAUL JAMISON | writer | poet | visual artist

The artist is a life-long student of mythological, spiritual, and religious expression and his writing, poetry, and drawings chronicle his own personal struggle to understand and embrace the mystical nature of life. His work is part of a long and enduring mystical tradition that began with the anonymous authors of prehistoric glyphs and cave paintings and flowed through fabled visionaries as diverse as Europeans William Blake and Dante Alighieri, the Persian poet Rumi, and Chinese philosopher-teacher Lao Tsu. The lineage is long and the mystical visions rich and diverse. Mr. Jamison's contemporary efforts are part of a dedicated journey to find his own path, his own vision, and his own place in the eternal dance of life.
