Peter Marin

Peter Marin began singing professionally as a teen and had the great fortune to be mentored by two fabulous entertainers; Johnny Prophet and Andy Williams. While learning his craft, life in the spotlight began to wear on Peter and along with his skill, a drug addiction grew.

He was a master at hiding his depression and cocaine habit. While secretly “self-medicating,” Marin still went on to work and play with the elite of sports and show business, Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Debbie Reynolds, Ray Charles, Nick Nolte, golf’s Johnny Miller, and so many more!

“Hollywood Entrepreneur” is a journey through both the inner workings of the entertainment industry, and the psyche of a creative entrepreneur who continued his fascinating life of successes and failures-always climbing back-always coming back-until depression robbed him of his memory.

Great memories lost to a silent sickness. But with time, re-learning songs he had performed so often before, and the love and support of friends, he slowly regained some memories. Now, he is sharing his stories and those of his struggle to recovery. He is striving not just to entertain but ultimately to show that with passion, love and patience, your best self will arrive.
