Louise Budgen

Louise Budgen is the author of The Quiet Roar – Stop Pretending You Are Fine, a book about the truths we already know, the lives we quietly outgrow and what happens when we finally listen to ourselves.

Through many reinventions of her own, Louise has learned that becoming isn’t about starting again — it’s about listening to what you already know. Today, she is an author, speaker and writer, using stories to explore truth, self-trust, identity, intuition, resilience and what it means to live fully human.

Her own journey through profound life experiences, including PTSD and cancer twice, taught Louise how often our inner knowing is there long before we are ready to listen.

The Quiet Roar grew from that realisation — and from a desire to start more honest conversations about how we really are, what we really want and the things we pretend are fine when they’re not.

Louise is the founder of TrueSoul®, a philosophy rooted in truth, self-trust and living fully human. She lives in England with her husband and family.
