Assisting others with vision challenges is a passion for Linda Hoopes. Soon after publishing her book, “Co-Creating a Meaningful Life with Macular Degeneration,” she started a V.I.P. (Visually Impaired People) Group in her community of 55 and older active seniors. They meet quarterly and frequently invite special speakers to inform and support those with vision impairments. Whenever possible, Linda “pays it forward” by sharing her personal experience, along with giving others a platform where all can participate in support of one another. Linda has always lived in the Midwest and continues to work part time as she enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle.
