Kevin Schumacher

Kevin Schumacher is a Northern Maine author whose love of the woods, local legends, and the darker side of the unknown inspired his debut novel, Loup-Garou.

Drawing from the remote forests, forgotten places, and rich folklore of Northern Maine, Kevin creates stories where the familiar can become unsettling—and where there are things in the woods that are better left undiscovered.

His writing combines mystery, suspense, horror, and the supernatural, with a particular focus on atmosphere, character, and the haunting legends that have been passed down through generations.

Loup-Garou is the beginning of a larger story, taking readers deep into the North Maine Woods and beyond, into a world where ancient secrets, strange creatures, and places between worlds are waiting to be found.

Kevin lives in Northern Maine, where the landscape and history continue to provide endless inspiration for his stories.
