Karen was published with her Cinderella parody, TROLLERELLA, by Holiday House. She was also published in Boys’ Quest Magazine, runs a critique group, and is a member of SCBWI-FL. She was nominated for a TAG award for her play, A G.I. Christmas in Omaha, which was a great incentive to continue down this path.

The joy of her life is her family, including identical triplet girls, fraternal twins, and four singletons making up her grandchildren. She has been married to Tom for four decades, and her children are in different time zones, so she travels a lot.

Retired from the software world, Karen lives in Florida and enjoys traveling, hiking, beaches, and trivia (though she stinks at it.).
