Johan Edfeldt

Johan Edfeldt is a Swedish author, songwriter, engineer and economist based in Malmö. He writes comic fantasy, middle-grade fantasy, dark fantasy, and nonfiction on Enterprise Performance Management.

His newest fantasy world is Speglara, a gloriously absurd realm where logic is optional, animals talk, authors interfere, and even finding a banana can become an epic quest. The series begins with The Hunt for the Holy Banana, in which the spectacularly ill-equipped Gibberish is sent on a royal mission to recover the legendary Holy Banana.

In The World Within, colour is magic. The series follows Timothy and Anna into a hidden realm filled with strange creatures, ancient secrets, friendship, danger, and adventure. The story begins with The Lost Colour and continues through The Lost Sword and The Great Escape.

The Realm of Polar moves into darker territory, with dragons, ancient magic, fractured timelines, deadly cold, and a world where warmth itself can become a source of power. The series begins with Polar: The Ice Dragon’s Curse and continues in Polar: Dressed in Dragonscales.

Johan is also the author of Performantria: Master the Game of Enterprise Performance Management, a practical guide connecting strategy, goals, KPIs, data, decisions, and execution.

Beyond books, he creates music inspired by stories, characters, and imagined worlds.
