Jean Ryan

Jean Ryan, a native Vermonter, now lives in coastal Alabama. Her work has appeared in a variety of journals, including the anthology Outer Voices Inner Lives, which features stories by LGBT writers. She was a Lambda Literary award finalist for her story collection SURVIVAL SKILLS. She has written five books: two story collections, SURVIVAL SKILLS and LOVERS AND LONERS; a novel, LOST SISTER; a collection of nature essays, STRANGE COMPANY; and two poetry collections, A DAY LIKE THIS and IN THIS VANISHING TIME. Her work can be found in digital form and paperback. STRANGE COMPANY is also available as an audio book.
