Hello, I'm Gerardo D'Orrico, born on March 6, 1976, in Cosenza, a wonderful city in the heart of the Calabria region, Italy. From a young age, I nurtured a deep passion for art, writing, and technology.

After completing my high school studies, I pursued an academic path at the universities of Arcavacata and Bologna, where I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in various fields. Although I didn't obtain a degree, I developed a solid expertise in computer science and became passionate about using musical instruments.

My youth was divided between residing in Luzzi, a charming town near Cosenza, where I lived during my years of study, and my mother's hometown, Villapiana sul mare, which enriched my life experience with its maritime charm and culture.

Since a young age, I had the opportunity to travel to different parts of Italy and, on some occasions, abroad. These experiences broadened my cultural horizons, allowing me to discover new places and meet interesting people along my journey.

After completing military service, I decided to join my father in his work and, simultaneously, cultivated my passion for prose writing. My dedication to computer science and software programming allowed me to develop strong technical skills and explore new creative horizons.

My personal exploration led me to create and manage the website Beneinst, a virtual space where anyone can freely share their diary pages, letters, poems, drawings, paintings, or photos. This platform has become a meeting point for artists and enthusiasts from various disciplines, offering them the opportunity to express themselves freely and share their creations with the world.

Currently, I reside in Luzzi, where I also engage in research in the field of technological art. I continue to write, review, and publish my texts, delving into the depths of imagination and striving to give voice to my thoughts and experiences through writing.

So far, I have published four books in the form of diaries, each with a unique narrative and a personal perspective. These works include "The Good and the Evil, Memories," "A Ceiling of Ash," "We are already us in ten minutes," "Tell it yourself," "Contaminated Thoughts," "Resonances of the Soul," "Balancing the Essence," and "Authentic Consciousness." Each book represents a milestone in my journey of discovery and exploration of the world around me.

I am grateful for the opportunities I've had and for the people who have crossed my path. I continue to cultivate my passion for writing and explore new creative challenges. I hope that my works can inspire and engage readers, opening new doors to reflection and understanding of contemporary existence.
