G. M. Kelso

Houston based award-winning author G. M. Kelso wrote Alonica fantasy novels to help him fight cancer. Rise of the Dragon Heirs won a best book cover award (2018); Splitting Heirs also won a Best Book Cover award (2019). His first novel, Tess; Law Woman of the West, won first place in the Young Adult Westerns category in the 2020 Texas Authors Institute Best Books Award competition. After Kelso completed a tour of duty with the U.S. Navy he worked in an assortment of jobs until his full-time focus turned to battling a cancer diagnosis.
