Donna Sven

💖🌿 Donna Sven creates Heart & Soul Kids™ stories — emotionally resonant “heart and soul books for kids” rooted in imagination and meaning. She writes for families who want stories that do more than entertain — tales that help children feel safe, inspired, and connected to their inner world.

A lifelong creator from Long Island, New York, Donna believes that creativity is the pinnacle of knowledge. Her stories often begin as quiet sparks of intuition, then unfold into mythic, emotionally rich journeys that help young children make sense of big feelings, new experiences, and the magic of their own imagination.

Donna is also the creator of Booktoons4Kids™, a unique story‑and‑song series that blends picture books with optional animated companions. Each Booktoons4Kids™ title includes a special “porthole” — a scannable code that opens the door to its matching animated video. Children can read, watch, or enjoy both together or separately, creating a sensory‑safe experience that supports early learning and emotional connection. Readers can look for the little film‑reel logo at the bottom of the books to know which titles include this Booktoons4Kids™ feature.

Parents appreciate that the books stand beautifully on their own, while the videos add rhythm, imagery, and gentle engagement for little ones who learn best through movement and sound. It’s a bridge between classic storytelling and modern magic — perfect for bedtime, classrooms, and quiet moments of wonder.

Donna’s mission is simple:
to create stories that feel like home — stories that nurture imagination, emotional courage, and a sense of inner calm.

📖✨ Booktoons4Kids™ offers a modular learning experience where visual cues, rhythmic narration, and interactive motifs help young minds build lasting emotional and educational connections. Studies show that children learn faster and retain information better when stories are paired with engaging visuals and sound. Booktoons4Kids™ invites them into a world where learning feels like play and stories come alive — with or without a screen.
