AUTHOR

Diane Paddison

Diane Paddison, Harvard MBA, twice held roles as the only female member of the executive team at a Fortune 500 company. She's also a wife and mother, and a devoted Christian. Paddison began working on the family farm, paid her way through college, served with IBM and earned a Harvard MBA. She rose to the executive committee and COO of Trammell Crow Company and global executive teams of CBRE and ProLogis (also COO). In Work, Pray, Love - updated in 2012 - Paddison uses personal highs and lows to help today's women balance career and family. Diane Paddison founded 4word - 4wordwomen.org - linking women committed to faith, family, and work to each other. 4word's value - secular and spiritual - emerges not only in a 4word: Digital Community, 4word: Local Groups and a 4word: Mentor Program but through 4word: Church Connect, churches are providing resources to women in the workplace in their congregations. Paddison's strong "Yes" to faith, family and work stands out as a national dialogue grows around women in business, with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, and Princeton professor Anne-Marie Slaughter also speaking out.
