DR Spice

DR Spice is an award-winning broadcaster and journalist who has also anchored news on Radio and TV, hosted talk shows and served in broadcast management. He views newscasts as the telling of factual and balanced stories, but loves writing fiction for the freedom to take realistic settings and happenings and turn them into compelling fiction. Thrillers and stories that bounce against history are most comfortable to him.

His latest solo work is Sudden Plunder, A Florida Keys Thriller. Set in a hurricane, evacuation is mandatory. Survival is optional.

As co-authors JB Azneer and DR Spice began writing together in 2006-2013, crafting stories drawn from their life experiences. The two men began writing when both lived in the Tampa Bay area. JB Azneer is a retired physician in the Tampa Bay area, but under that doctor's white coat is a concert violinist and opera singer of considerable talent.
