I've been a lot of things: an attorney who walked away after a year, a healthcare administrator who spent nearly fifteen years in hospitals across the country, a jeweler who showed work in New York City six months after my first metalsmithing class.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, the kind of city that gets into your bones and never really leaves. I've lived in six states and Italy. I've built careers and walked away from them. I became a mother just shy of 40, which is its own kind of reinvention.

Now I write. My memoir, Eating Nails for Breakfast, is the story of figuring out why I never quite fit in. My debut novel, The Cure She Carries, is coming late 2026. It's about a mother, a daughter, and a world that decides who's worth saving.

I live in Colorado with my husband Irwin, our daughter, and two dogs.

This is my second act. I'm just getting started.
