Caitlin Bowers is a certified skating coach with 17 years of experience. She spent countless hours teaching her children how to skate, and also how to read. That experience-both on the ice and curled up with books-sparked something in her, and Caitlin decided to start writing the stories she and her children wished existed. Stories that capture the magic of skating, the joy of learning, and the color and imagination children crave.

Caitlin lives in Chestermere, Alberta, with her husband Alex, and their two children. When she's not writing, she's inspiring kids to skate!
