Brenda Fisk

Brenda Fisk has worked in a mountainside lumber mill, taught prisoners trigonometry, worn a badge and studied graphic design. Far and above, her favourite job was teaching little kids to ride bicycles and telling them bedtime stories. As she always dreamt, she now lives with her partner on a remote lake in the boreal forest. A member of Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop, she draws on her experiences to write short stories and children’s books.
