Art Kensey

Art Kensey brings family history to life through genealogy, photographs, and personal recollections. His writing follows the connections between everyday lives and history, preserving the stories, discoveries, and unexpected relationships that make each family unique.

At age 70, Art experienced what he describes as a dramatic increase in his psychic abilities, opening a new chapter in his life and adding a spiritual dimension to his exploration of family history. These deeply personal experiences became part of the story he wanted to preserve alongside his ancestral discoveries.

A U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1972 to 1974 as a Petty Officer Third Class, Art combines historical research with a personal commitment to remembering those who came before him. His books weave ancestral discoveries together with family memories, giving future generations a chance to know the people behind the names.

For Art, every photograph, record, and remembered story offers the beginning of another adventure.
