Arenda B

I’ve been writing since grammar school, ever since I told my mother I could write better than someone I saw on television — and she challenged me to prove it. I took that challenge seriously. I started with short stories and poetry, letting language become a place where I could experiment, escape, and grow. Now I’m stepping into the world of novel writing, learning the long form one chapter at a time.

I graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. in Digital Media Innovation, and while I’m still figuring out exactly where I want that degree to take me, writing has become the path I’m following for now. This book marks my first official step into publishing — a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply earned.

I live in Austin, Texas with my two domestic shorthair cats, Hitchcock and Zorro, who supervise my creative process with varying degrees of enthusiasm. I currently write under the name Arenda B., and I’m excited to see where this journey leads next.
