Ann Val

Ann Val is a children’s author and nationally published journalist with a degree in elementary education. A former elementary tutor and homeschool co-op leader, she has spent years working with young readers and writers. Her debut middle-grade novel, "Nathaniel and the Worst Project in the History of the Fourth Grade," is a heartfelt story with wry humor about how sometimes, when things go wrong, they can lead somewhere good.

When she isn’t writing fiction, Val works as a journalist and magazine editor. She lives in Arizona with her husband, three children, and their Wheaten terrier, Maple.
