Amy Lyn Nolen

Amy Lyn Nolen is an Oklahoma-based author who has been on her writing journey for the past five years. A lifelong reader, she grew up wanting to become a writer and eventually took the leap after encouragement from her husband and family.

Travel is one of Amy’s biggest sources of inspiration. She loves learning about different cultures, myths, and legends, and often finds story ideas in the places she visits. The idea that eventually became Throne of Ember and Ash began with a statue she saw during a writers’ retreat in Italy.

Outside writing, Amy runs a real estate business and enjoys traveling, stargazing, and astrophotography. Her ideas often arrive late at night, usually when she cannot sleep, which has led to more than a few nights spent awake with a story taking shape.

Above all, Amy hopes readers can lose themselves in her stories while finding a little piece of themselves along the way.
