Aaron Dinin is that (possibly annoying) Duke professor who keeps showing up in your social media feeds sharing life lessons you didn't ask for. All those videos have somehow convinced millions of people to follow him.

When he's not in a classroom lecturing at a camera, he's in a classroom lecturing at his students... usually about entrepreneurship. Or he's writing books and newsletters about the one thing school spends eighteen years teaching us to fear and never once teaches us to do well: Fail.

Dr. Dinin has a PhD in English, which he acquired largely by accident after wandering into the wrong freshman elective. Along the way, he started multiple venture-backed tech companies. Some succeeded, some failed, and at least one managed both in a confusingly short period of time.

He currently lives in North Carolina with his wife and two daughters, the latter of whom remain thoroughly unimpressed by all of the above.
