What a journey this has been. With all its happy and tragic moments, the "Lady of the Lake" is such a good read, marking the end of a remarkable journey.

As always, Peter Kenny does a master's work in narrating the book, and listening to this audio book while reading is certainly a must-do, adding much more live to the story!

The series has gotten into the weeds. The main story is wonderful, but there's too much meandering with very little payoff as you get further along. On the other hand, Peter Kenny's reading of this is incredible. There's some odd choices here and there but his virtuosity actually almost managed to save some of the more boring passages for me, and that's saying something.

I really do enjoy this series, I just wish that Sapkowski had trimmed some of the fat off.
