une narration qui ne me correspond pas
J'ai lu tous les livres et terminé tous les jeux liés au sorceleur. Je trouve que le narrateur est meilleur pour J'admire, mais n'est pas très crédible selon moi en Geralt. J'ai donc choisi la version française.

Great Start!!!
Blood of Elves picks up intelligently from where the two previous books (The Last Wish and The Sword of Destiny) left us. Sapkowski does a good job in preparing us, the readers, for the following...
...
The story is outstandingly narrated by Peter Kenny, making the reading of this already great novel even more enjoyable!

Not the fantasy book I expected
This is the third book in the Witcher series. I was hoping that after the first two collections of shorter stories, this first main story-line would be more focused and interesting. Unfortunately it's not. The author does not seem to care about world-building as other fantasy writers do. For example, don't expect any of the details that Tolkien or Martin put in their novels. The universe feels like a cheap version of Tolkien's world, with certain elements . The author also failed to make me care about any of the his characters, in particular Geralt who is supposed to be the lead in this story. The same goes for the story, which follows the common "the chosen one" trope. Finally, although the narrator is obviously talented, I could not stand his regular switching between voices for the different characters. His attempts to imitate female voices in particular pulled me out of the immersion every single time.
