The Cuffing Aaliyah Series

Aaliyah is a twenty-five year old attractive woman with a black mother and a white father. Her parents are divorced. She lives in Illinois with her mother. Her mother is rather hard on her and pushes her to be successful. She is therefore hyper-independent, wary of men, and very assertive. Conner is the only man she has ever known. She does not believe in fairytale love or being overly romantic.

Conner is a twenty-nine year old white male doctor with a stable but boring life. He loves Aaliyah but feels very insecure about her new job in the entertainment industry. He is doting, homely, and makes Aaliyah feel safe.

Adrian is a twenty-six year old black millionaire animator. He loves to live on the edge. Adrian is very competitive and arrogant. He believes that love is a farce and has given up on it completely.

Conner and Adrian are best friends, and the plot thickens when Aaliyah ends up working with Adrian at the entertainment company.
